The door that leads into our walled garden.

I’m taking a bit of a risk here.. . . . I normally post pictures of inside the garden and of flowers. This morning I thought some of you might like to see this outer part of the walled garden. The track is occasionally used by us and the farmers, it will soon become the driveway for our guests, that will be staying inside our almost finished roundhouse next year. The two yew trees have been here for decades, as have many others around us. Tom decided to butcher them about six years ago to make space for the driveway, with a goal in mind. This year he feels he has reached it! There’s another one around the corner that I will show you when he’s happy with it.

Bring back yesterday’s sun!

My shadow.. . . . ..and my best friend. Meet Amber, my 18 month old Retriever. Here she is on one of our dog walks, she also spends time with me in the garden, mostly chewing on something disgusting or digging holes in the lawn! I’d take her everywhere with me if she didn’t get carsick! I love her to bits and she is such a wonderful girl to have around..

Goodbye September.. . . It’s been a memorable one..October I’m coming to getcha!
